I'm really hating the Red Sox right now. They're offense is good though.Comment

The Rays really need to put some wins together. They are picking the wrong time to be losing so many games. I still think they will make it interesting in the AL East, but the Wild Card game is looking more likely for them.Comment

Re: 9/2 - 9/8 Game Discussion Thread
Not to mention I don't care if I see Yankees/Red Sox a thousand times. It's relevant baseball. Much like there is a perceived "Northeast Bias", there's also a very real anti-Northeast bias by too many people who don't realize that the biggest rivalry in the sport is very clearly going to receive the most attention especially considering both teams are almost always relevant.
I agree, I don't mind seeing a bunch of Yanks/Sox games, but other relevant matchups should be shown as well. I've been to Bristol and been inside the Baseball Tonight production booth. ESPN's "Northeast bias", although overplayed at times, is real nonetheless.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. SNB is shown on TSN up here. We don't get ESPN's mid-week games. Sportsnet does a pretty good job of showing several non-Toronto games per week, usually on the West Coast. We don't get to see East Coast NL teams very often (though they did show a couple PIT/SF games in August).
Need I remind you that last Sunday, ESPN bypassed Cardinals/Pirates and Rays/A's to showcase Nats/Mets?

What a horrible west coast road trip this has been for the Rays.

Re: 9/2 - 9/8 Game Discussion Thread
I just don't see him talked about a lot this year, yet he's hitting .337, 36 doubles, 9 triples, 23 homeruns, 96 runs, 32 steals, 84 RBI's, .435 OBP. OPS 1.008, plus his defense. Just another outstanding season.
It wouldn't surprise me if Cabrera gets the MVP unanimous, maybe 1 vote for Chris Davis.
