Re: Ken Griffey Jr. Trade Talk Continues
Well stating the obvious but Griffey would really benifit from playing with an Al team and being able to DH. He's probably worth taking the risk, not to mention it would proably be a big public relations boost to see their own star come home.Comment

Re: Ken Griffey Jr. Trade Talk Continues
I'd love to see Griffey back in Seattle, but I sure as hell don't want his contract.
Isn't he due like $65.5 million over the next five years? That's alot for an injury prone DH.
Plus, I'd think he'd have to play the outfield this year. Edgar obviously can't go out their and play third anymore, lol. And I don't see Olerud leaving 1B to make room for Edgar there.
Eh, we'll see.Co-Commish of the OS Vets I & II

Vets II | Washington Redskins(13-6) | Last Game: L 37-34 OT @ ATL (NFC Conference Championship)

If the Reds pay some of his contract I would be down.
He could play some OF and some DH.
Edgar will be in an out of the lineup, and playing Griffey over Winn in center would be beneficial. I would love to see him return as long as we don't pay to much or give up too much.Comment
