I'd love to see Griffey back in Seattle, but I sure as hell don't want his contract.

Isn't he due like $65.5 million over the next five years? That's alot for an injury prone DH.

Plus, I'd think he'd have to play the outfield this year. Edgar obviously can't go out their and play third anymore, lol. And I don't see Olerud leaving 1B to make room for Edgar there.

    Eh, we'll see.

If the Reds pay some of his contract I would be down.

He could play some OF and some DH.

Edgar will be in an out of the lineup, and playing Griffey over Winn in center would be beneficial. I would love to see him return as long as we don't pay to much or give up too much.

This isn't going to happen. This is a just a rumor that gets annually created. There is no real basis for this rumor, trust me on that.

Yes, we all know you have the inside hookup on the Mariners' organization.

                  Well I kept thinking....come on....Kevin Jarvis.....in the bullpen...?

                  All those lefties?....

Trade fodder? Yeah, for Griffey? maybe. I doubt it, but it would be awesome. They'd have to re-erect that statue in a hurry.

If I was a Mariners fan, I'd rather them eat Jarvis' contract and keep a young arm in the bullpen.
