Take it from a Yankee fan, Swisher never shows up for big games.

That wasn't beer. It was a chew spitter.

I can't remember the last time Jose Molina got a hit.

I thought we were done talking about Atlanta?

                RAYS WIN!!!!

Gotta give it up to the Indians though. What a great season they had this year.

Get ready Boston. The Rays are coming.

It actually looked like a Starbucks cup to me but I'm not sure.

Disappointed in the outcome, but happy with how the season went under first year manager Francona.

We should dump Perez and get a solid closer. I'm a lifelong fan, but didn't think they'd get very far had they won this play in game.

Next year, I hope we finally overtake Detroit for the division so we won't be in this position.

As for the game, I really shouldn't be surprised. I'm impressed with the pitching staff sans Perez and guys like Santana/Kipnis/Brantley/Gomes but the Indians desperately need an All-Star caliber power hitter next season. When your best power guy is Swisher you're in trouble. Cabrera and Swisher have been terrible all season. Bourn had a terrible night and I still say Francona should have had him bunt late in the game when K'd. Put the ball in play and see if Bourn can beat out an infield single.

Have to wonder if the Tribe tries to trade Cabrera next year to get a true cleanup hitter and bring up Lindor to replace Cabrera. If the lineup isn't improved next year I don't see any October baseball.

You really might as well leave Swisher off the playoff roster, when it comes playoff time, despite seasonal stats. Swisher has an impossibly, impressively terrible .165 average and equally bad .277 obp in 47 games that matter.

I'm usually one of the first to trot out the "sample size alert," but that is pretty putrid for what's nearly 1/3rd of a season.

Yea it's absurd, I never felt confident when he was at the plate in a playoff game. Just Awful, and a liability when things get important.
