Hypothetical situation i cant find in the rule book

okay, two pitchers both go the full 9

they both throw a no hitter, but one player gets on by a complete error, then when he tries to steal second the catcher throws it to the outfield and the player comes in to score.

so the score is 1-0, but the one run was completley unearned, does the pitcher get the loss even though its not his fault it happened. Does the other pitcher get the win? or do they both get no decisions?

    thanks.

Both pitchers get decisions. The run wasn't earned and won't reflect on his era, but he will get the loss.

I remember in 1990 I think, it was the start before Dennis Martinez' perfect game. An Expos pitcher threw a no-hitter for nine innings yet lost the game. I believe he left the game after the 9th.

now that's a SUCKY day for a pitcher.
