    By the way. Their resoning is quality is better than quanity.

    isn't that kind of the wrong idea? especially in baseball? I mean, so few minor leaguers pan out compared to the number who do. Even 'can't miss' prospects.

    And, to a certain extent, isn't having a lot of 'decent' prospects who could pan out better than having one or two 'great' ones?

    At least as far as building a good team.

            most of the Mets "premium" talent is at AA right now...i dont know that id consider that top-heavy......i DO like the way weve been building up the farm system though, should put us in good position to acquire who we need should we perform well enough at the major league level to warrant it
