I blame this one on Bochy for:

A) Taking out his 2 most consistent hitters in the 8th inning.
B) Pitching to the 4-5 Lo Duca with 0-4 Encarnacion on deck.

I was able to watch from the 4th inning on, although if LoDuca didn't get that hit to end it there I was gonna have to go to bed, or pass out in my chair. Luckly I didn't have to make the choice. I was surprised how good Weaver looked.

1-2. Blame MSU, stop jinxing them. I'd rather have a thread called Official Padres Season Thread rather than Official Padres contintue to own the Dodgers thread.

If I remember, this is what happened last year, except it was made in the Padres homestand, which they took 3 games out of 4 against the Dodgers, then the next series the Dodgers took 2 of 3, winning the last two games.

Both starters pitched well enough to earn a win, too bad the offenses couldn't pick up either one.

Oh yeah, the only time I'll consider them owning us if they take two more series from the Padres. Until then, it still goes to the Padres.
