    Two words for you: HIDEKI ARABU

    I might watch bits and pieces of this game if I get a chance to. I hope to see how well Kaz can adjust to the Majors.

    Irabu was a pitcher though, it's a little different. Compare Kaz to Ichiro and Hideki. If those two can make the adjustments then Kaz should be able to as well, if he's as good as advertised.

                  No, the guy can hit for average and power. If Ichiro wasn't a leadoff man, he'd be pumping out more home runs, but with a lesser batting average. I see Matsui in the same way, but depending where the Mets put him in the lineup depends on what kind of hitter he'll be. He could be the slap hitter like Ichiro or he can be the average/power hitter.

                              I hope you are right. Being a Mets fan, I just feel that everything they touch turns into turd. Every other team takes our scraps and turns them into Gold (Dotel, Isringhausen, etc.).
