Did we scratch Leiter?? I thought we moved Trax up a day so Leiter could pitch! God it sucks being down in Memphis where information in our paper is useless!!

By the way 3 HR for Mike in 2 games?? He might be playing 1B by May!

Leiter took a line drive off the skull over the weekend, they switched him with Erickson, so right now its Erickson tonight, Yates tomorrow, and Leiter on Sat before starting again with Glavine Sunday

Piazza is a machine right now...forget May, he could be our 1B by next week

That record means so much to him, class act by Howe and the front office to let Piazza get it before really pressuring him to play 1st.

Kaz is also showing some great patience at the plate. I thought the scouting report on him was that he struck out a lot?? Maybe I'm confusing him.

no, youre tight about Kaz, and all through spring training he was a K Machine, and he kept saying in the papers how he felt bad about it and had to work on his plate discipline....looks like hes a quick study thus far, with like 4 walks already and only 1 K (maybe 2?)

I know its 2 games, but he doesn't get behind in the count that much. Good to see

yeah, after watching him during the spring, its like two different players, night and day right now...as you said, two games, so well see how he adjusts to the league and vice versa...be nice to have Reyes back though
