I didn’t even look at the NL. Unbelievable they have Milwaukee with 88 wins.

Why? We have very good pitching to go along with very good defense now.

And you have the Pirates in the same division so I guess anything is possible. Is it crazy to like the Reds in the central. People saying it’s the worst division but I think it might actually be the most open one.

I can see why everyone was down on the Central until Cards, Cubs and us finally made moves.

Guess we’ll see what happens, any of the 3 can win the division.

If we do land Turner, although unlikely, we become the favorites.

Sadly it seems like its only 5 teams who get in.

But I wonder how do Rays who lost their best player not take a big hit? Astros I dont see being drastically better as a team, but AL West I dont see being so good so they'll probably finish fairly well.

Jays at 85 wins with their current roster I can see. But the thing is, they still have 1 or 2 SP to get. So that should push them in the 90 win range.

I feel like the Braves get projected for 82-84 wins every year.

Are they expanding rosters past 26 to help with protocols again this season?

Each team will travel with a 5 man taxi squad.

Also if a player is placed in quarantine, then the team can call up a player to replace him and then send him down once the player is out of quarantine without using an option year or having to place him through waivers.

Fangraphs has their playoff odds out.

                      https://www.fangraphs.com/standings/playoff-odds/fg/lg

From what they said, it'll be Yankees (96), Twins (89), Astros (89), as AL Division winners and White Sox (88) and Jays (87) or Red Sox (87) as WC teams (last time I checked, Sox sucked last year after losing Betts). Os are only team with a 0.0% chance to make the playoffs in all of baseball.

In the NL, Dodgers (98), Mets (92) and either Cards (82) or Brewers (81) are division winners. Braves (89) and Padres (95) are WC teams.

I still think the Braves are the team to beat in the NL East until the Mets show they can go toe to toe with them, but man it feels weird seeing the Mets chosen as division favorites in these projections. I think my post traumatic Wilpon syndrome is getting the best of me.

Actual story: Marlins allowing 20% capacity for their home games this season

How I read it: Marlins allowing 70% of their average attendance at games

You laugh, but it's actually true.

From a publicity standpoint, it was a wasted opportunity to not get him up sooner, especially during a time when they weren't going anywhere.

Same with the Giants and Bonds last year, but it is what it is.

Is MLB network doing their 30 clubs in 30 days stuff this season?

I remember how they had just aired the Jays one before everything shut down. I left that recording on my box until baseball resumed in the summer before I finally watched it.

I did hear Jim Bowden mention something about how all 30 teams have diff media health and safety rules with regards to how they're allowed to be covering the team in ST since that's obviously the time of the year with lots of media and player interactions.
