This is the first good thing he’s done in a lot of people’s eyes. I’d like to see a breakdown of takes to this decision split up by age and political affiliation.

I see where David Ortiz son is playing high school ball in Florida.
at 16 years aged and 6' 200 lbs. is he already too big to be Little Papi?

Ah, so Vlad Guerrero Sr. isn't the only one with a large adult son. Well, I guess Big Papi's son will be a large adult son in a few years, anyway.

Does anyone ever sometimes think that a player is signed to a team just because their name has some connection to their organization?

The Mets had Matz, the Indians had Bauer and Bauers, the Yankees had Judge and Drury ("jury"), Canadian teams had Vlad Sr. and now they have Vlad Jr., the Padres had Tony Gwynn Sr. and Jr., the Griffey's with the Mariners/Reds and the Bonds' with the Giants... I think this list goes on in weird ways like this, and some of the father/son ones actually do make some sense, but I was wondering if they ever signed somebody because, on top of their talent, they could put a PR spin on their names and make it a win-win for them.

that's why I always say Ernie Banks was fortunate to sign with Chicago.

Bo Bichette is the fastest Jay to 100 hits. During today’s broadcast the list the top 5 or 6. I’m surprised no Shawn Green or John Olerud.

When the D'Backs got Starling Marte a few years ago, the first thought that popped into my head was "they'll be having double Marte part-teys out there now."

Every time I say his name in my head, I use the same cadence as when saying Boba Fett.

                            Last ASG in Colorado:
NL all stars had a hall of fame lineup...and Walt Weiss

ASG MVP from the Baltimore Orioles, Roberto Alomar (always feels weird to me seeing him with any other team, and surprised he never stuck with any team)

                            And the HRD winner
