I've been following him before I saw him pitch in State College. Mitch Harris has been called up to the majors.

Re: MLB Off-Topic
I'm sure people heard of this before, but they're having a "franchise four" vote for each franchise in the league. The 4 best players from each team. Results revealed at all star game.
They also have category for "pioneers"(players before 1915), negro league and greatest living player.
All but 1 Nats options were Expos.Pedro Martinez is on list for greatest living player?
Most surprising thing though,Barry Bonds is on the list for greatest living player, and also for Pirates and Giants possible options.Comment

Re: MLB Off-Topic
That stretch of his career was the most dominant stretch of baseball by a pitcher I've ever personally seen. There's an argument to be made about Pedro being one of the best pitchers to ever play the game. And he's still alive...so to me, him NOT being in the discussion would be a travesty.Check out my Houston Astros Dynasties:

Re: MLB Off-Topic
Strikes out 5 of the greatest hitters in the Steroid Era. (Larkin, Larry Walker, Sosa, McGwire, Matt Williams {no K}, and Bagwell). Has multiple seasons of an ERA hovering right around 2. And in a 9 year stretch having only 2 seasons with an ERA higher than 2.5 and it was 2.89 and 3.90. He had 2 years with an ERA under 2 in era where Offense dominated the league. Also in that ASG, he was the first pitcher to K 3 people to start off a game. I can understand not voting for him but how is he not in the conversation. Also as someone else said, he had arguably the greatest stretch in a career of all time.Comment
