Honestly, I don’t mind it. At least it’s not front and center like on soccer jerseys.

Very big, but at least it's on the shoulder/sleeve and matches team colors.

Same as the Nike logo, 15% to 20% too big. NBA has it "right", MLB doesn't.

Montoyo reaction to teams (Red Sox, Yankees etc.) complaining about playing in Toronto without some of their guys.

Marquee doing a nice piece on the Kiermaier Brothers right now. Kevin’s Brother, Dan, is the head groundskeeper for Wrigley. They have Kevin going around doing various tasks under the watchful eye of Dan. Great TV

Next up, lets have each team allowed 1 time out/mound visit a game. Beyond that, coaches can only come on the field for a pitching change. That probably saves a few minutes right there.

20 mins saved on average from pitch clock is great news. That's about the amount of time it takes to play a full inning.

Heck, why stop there? After that, let’s just make the games 6 innings each. Then we’re looking at 2 hour games.

After that we can just change the schedule to be more like hockey and basketball to where they play only a few games a week rather than 6 days. That way we can make sure that people who already currently bored with watching the game all of a sudden regain their interest.

I have zero issues with a pitch clock. Especially when you go to an actual game, you notice how much time pitchers waste by dilly dallying on the mound.

I’m all for tightening up pace of play. I’ve noticed the pitchcom system has helped this a bit for the teams that use it.

Yea the pitch clock is one change I would welcome. It doesn't personally bother me. But that actually would speed things up. Unlike all these other stupid changes. That one actually makes sense.

All Yankees unvaccinated guys are now "inoculated".

This isn't an Aaron Rodgers situation where they just use a fancy word to pretend they're vaccinated right?

Yea, not crazy about the pitch clock but it’s inevitable so I’m over that.

What I’m worried about is all the other stuff people are asking for. If pitch clock effectively shaves 20 mins off the game then we’ve won. No need to do anything else.

Pace of play is absolutely priority number one. Style of play is a very close second. I don’t think it’s a coincidence, on the doorstep of shift banning implementation, we are seeing possibly the lowest homer total since 2015.

To me, baseball is the most beautiful sport when the ball doesn’t get to the catcher but doesn’t go over the wall. We need that back in the game. We have such great athletes to put on display.

I don't have a problem with a pitch clock, but I just don't need it on a score bug, somewhere huge in the stadium, or some big buzzer to go off if it's not met. I also don't mind if the playoffs extend the one with runners on base. There are times where getting the right pitch and breath, letting the game slow down in an intense moment and late, is exactly the thing that everybody (including the viewing audience) needs.

All this being said, as I've said before, I always thought there was a rulebook pitch clock that was loosely enforced, like traveling in basketball haha. I could've sworn I went to a Giants game in the 90s and saw that a ball was charged to the pitcher for that very reason. Maybe, maybe not.
