I don't miss the pre-scorebug era, TBH. (I do miss out-of-town highlights, however.)

I knew they first started popping up around 94/95, but I was unaware of the OJ connection!

One of the most famous days in sports, June 17 1994, represents the debut of the essential and now ubiquitous scorebug.

I miss the days where not everyone gets to be an armchair umpire with the K-zone on every pitch.

When the Giants played the Cardinals at Rickwood, it was so refreshing seeing that technology dissipate from my screen. You can see some of the highlights here with its prominent absence. I really do wish we could go back to that.

Yeah I thought the K zone was cool at first, but now it's just unnecessary and kinda misleading. It's not even accurate for every player, because going by the rule book the strike zone isn't just a standardized box for everyone.

I think the main reason is this. So, attention span.

The box they use on broadcasts adjusts to the batter's height, like the strike zone rule says

The one they show on screen in real time for every pitch? So it's a different size and position depending on the players height and/or how high/low their batting stance is? I'll take your word, but I never notice it changing from batter to batter.

They say they take it from their previous three games or something like that.

For those people (like me) who wishes to purchase a baseball cap of the Cleveland organization and have to ponder on its 123 year-old history, which logo do I really want to slap on the front of it? There is one timeline I have a soft spot towards

Still amazed that Cleveland didn't rebrand to the Spiders. All-time blown marketing/merchandising opportunity.

Chief Wahoo is the only iconic logo, but in 2024 it depends on your level of comfort with that.

You see, it's racism like this that got the name and logo changed in the first place.

Serious answer, the hair 79-85 looks darker. I like the 79-85 better. Dunno why that was felt to be a necessary adjustment.
