I have never seen this before. Love it. That pitcher damn near pooped himself.
I am the lesson after the fall.

I'd assume most people posting here have MLB.TV, but definitely don't consider it an impulse purchase.

Well it wasn't even a thought in my mind until Yesterday morning. I thought about it and was like "F it, I'll get it"

                      So new topic.

How/why did you start loving your favorite team?

For me...it was because of my grandpa. He loved baseball and the Braves; he refused to get cable so we'd watch the Saturday afternoon game every week - I had bunny ears responsibility . He was like 70 and would get in perfect umpire form and call balls and strikes for an inning sometimes, cracking me up as a kid.

I didn't start learning the ins/outs of baseball until my teenage years when I got a TV in my own room and could watch them on TBS. Baseball will always be the #1 sport for me.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

For me, it was either the Cubs or the Braves as that's who I saw on TV most often (WGN or TBS). Everyone I knew was a Braves fan, so I went with the Cubs.

I started watching the Blue Jays in '89 and was a very casual fan but in 1991 I got swept up in the euphoria of Juan Guzman coming up to the big leagues and blazing a helluva trail. The city immediately fell in love with him and the team was on their way back to the playoffs after missing out in 1990. Since then, i've been an avid Jays fan and I think that this present time could be a new golden age of interest for the team. Certainly, the coverage by Sportsnet has made getting information about the Jays extremely easy.

I honestly am not sure how I became an A's fan.

My dad tried to raise me as a Yankees fan but even at a young age I was smart enough to realize how wrong that felt.

I grew up in Montana so there were no local options.

Honestly if recollection serves me right, I was a baseball fan before I was an A's fan, I played with Texas in Bases Loaded II (I loved hitting with Worth) and their color scheme matched the A's and being the late 80's by the time I got to be around 7 the A's were on TV more that others so I think I just chose the A's to match my BL rooting and to defy my dad.

Have stuck strong with them ever since despite living in Colorado when the Rockies started playing there.

I will admit that it sucks and is hard at times being an A's fan living on the East Coast.
