I think the 3-batter minimum thing is the rule change I'd be least opposed to of all those mentioned. Technically a 1-batter minimum is already on the books so the traditionalist in me sees less of a jarring change. It would also put a premium on guys who can get both lefties and righties out.

Not a fan of the pitch clock or the universal DH. Asking for the DH two months before the season is beyond silly and about what you'd expect from the MLBPA.

It still seems like we're proposing changes for the sake of proposing changes. Nothing I've seen really drastically does anything to solve anyone's [real or imagined] problems with the game. Put in a pitch clock, add a DH, decrease mound visits and pitching changes, un-juice the baseball, make Mike Trout do more Subway commercials and baseball is still way behind NFL in the sports revenue pie.

If we get the DH, the Padres will no longer have to send their most productive hitter to the minor leagues or maybe Glass Myers can bat for a full season.

Those changes are ****ing stupid, as per usual.

Even the one that's right, a single trade deadline, they're doing stupid **** with it by proposing it be before the All-Star Break.

            1. 3 batters minimum: No.
            2. Universal DH: Yes.

I imagine number 6 is about stopping rewarding failure by giving the worst team in baseball the number one pick in the draft. I'm all for it btw, it was a great idea in theory and worked for a while, but it's led to tanking, which is the antithesis of what sport is about. You should never be punished for winning and rewarded for losing.

I need details. If you want to change it to a lottery so as not make it a race to bottom for the worst then I guess I'm ok with that. But I agree with the principle that the bad teams should get the higher picks so they get better and don't suck anymore. It kind of obvious but it needs to be stated.

What are you going to do? The team that wins the World Series also gets the 1st overall pick? Ridiculous (I'm exaggerating).

Revenue sharing is the main thing that has made teams seat back and enjoy the wealth without having to put a good product on the field. How about we incentivize winning. Curtail revenue sharing, want money? Win.

That's also likely because everybody swings and misses.

                      Oh, and the pitching changes.

Part of me says yes because multiple pitching changes is probably the single worst aspect of watching baseball as a fan.

Universal DH. Aside from the fact that you royally screw many NL teams who have allocated parts of their budget for the season that starts in 2 months... No. Absolutely not. Keep the DH out of the NL.

Single trade deadline? Yes, but not before the all-star break

Pitch clock? Not sure that it's necessary if you go to 3 batter min.

Expansion of rosters to 26. maybe?

Draft advantages for winning teams. No. Find another way to discourage tanking, but as long as the median payroll continues to be 60%+ below the top payrolls then you just can't do that. There has to be a way for smaller markets to compete.

Overall just a terrible list of proposals.

Universal DH is coming. It’s inevitable. This year? No. Next year, absolutely.

3 batter minimum, I’m leaning towards yes.

                            Pitch clock. Yes.

Single trade deadline. Yes but after the all star game.

Expansion of rosters. Sure why not.

Draft rules. This needs to be better explained. But I am in favor of doing something about tanking. That as much as anything is ruining the sport.

Some of these suggestions seem contradictory.

Three-batter minimum is to get fewer pitching changes. But if you expand the rosters, everybody is just going to add another relief pither, leading to more pitching changes.
