LOL same here. I guess the WBC if that's still a thing is the big international baseball event since it's no longer an Olympic sport.

OK, but with one being a Top 100 prospect in MLB (Blair) and the other 2 being recent 1st round picks, most prospect hounds have certainly heard of all 3 of these guys. People that don't follow prospects that closely or started paying attention in 2013 or 2014, maybe not so much.

I do follow the top 100 pretty closely so I know most of the guys. But the drafts I don't really follow.

Yah as a prospect guy they're definitely guys to at least know the names of. Eflin was a wanted guy in Toronto going into his draft year. I forget which year that was but I'm pretty sure it was 2010 where we took Deck McGuire and whiffed on Chris Sale, lol

This is pretty off topic. Since the Cardinals have been in Chicago, I've noticed two things.

                    1. Giovanni Soto's throw back to the mound is the strangest one that I've seen.

                    2. U.S. Cellular is one of two ballparks that still have those useless, dirt on deck circles. I remember Busch 2 had them after the 1996 renovations, but then they removed them.

And why in the world did Yankee Stadium have 6 on deck circles?

In the old days th starting pitchers would warm up right behind home plate before the game. The pitchers stood in the circle closest to home plate and the catchers set up in the ones nearest the backstop.

I commented on this earlier. He seems like he is about to fall flat on his face every time he throws the ball back. Don't know what's that all about.

Yeah I always thought that the Chi-Sox catcher was going to fall flat on his face every time he threw the ball back when the Jays played them last. I wonder if anyone's asked him about that. I'm guessing it's just one of those things he doesn't notice.

Your last place AL Red Sox are the most expensive. Shocker!

So, a question I've been pondering.

Does anybody remember watching Shawon Dunston play? I hear tell his arm was legendary but I can't find any footage which truly displays the velocity...how comparable is it to today's greatest arm (Andrelton Simmons)?
