If you're going to charge $14.95 a month, you BETTER have enough bandwidth. Period.

I think I'm going to stick with Extra Innings and listen to MLB radio if they aren't on TV.

Yeah, I think that might be a good hybrid method.

The problem for me is I have digital cable. Right now (and until June basically), they share the channels with the Center Ice Hockey package, and the end result is there really aren't that many games. On the other hand, MLB.TV seems to offer esentially every game on TV. For $99.99 a season (compared to $150 for Extra Innings - No Radio - No Press Pass - No Extra Anything), it might be worth putting up with the occasional internet glitch.

I wonder if there is another forum out there on the internet (no offense to OS) that might have more activity regarding this subject.

Actually, the NHL thing shouldn't be bad after next week. Once the first round is over, there are few enough playoff games that ABC, ESPN and ESPN2 should be able to cover them all.

Cool - Did you have extra innings last year? I hear this year MLB.TV is getting around the ESPN exclusive Wednesday / Sat thing and showing games 7 days a week.

                  Re: MLB.TV problems...

I did have extra innings last year, and I'd guess that I got to see about 80% of the games. It'd definitely recommend it. Especially with the problems MLB.TV has.

The only thing is that EI is about $40 more if you do the math for April-October.

I don't think so. This past Wednesday Night, all the evening games were blacked out on MLB.TV.

Sunday nights shouldn't be so bad, cuz like today, all the Sunday games other than ESPN's were earlier in the day to avoid the blackouts.

I would have got MLB Extra Innings, but I liked what MLB.TV had to offer more. More games, cheaper price, archives all the games, plus I can watch them all right at my PC, where I spend alot of my time anyways. Plus, I'm going off to college in Sept, so I would have missed the whole final stretch if I didn't go with MLB.TV.

Eh, hopefully they get it straightened out. I was loving it until today's problems.
