I don't want it to where you HAVE to warm up a pitcher, how bout an option to turn that off and on. Playing 2 player i dont' want that, but in my dynasty i do.

Baseball Advance style metered-batting stride....but with a little less generous lock-on for guessing pitch location. That simple little 16-bit game ruined my fun when batting in all the console offerings because its batting interface is so much more advanced. In my opinion, it was the biggest advancement to videogame baseball I have seen in a few years as far as gameplay. Since that unlikely to happen, just beef up the cpu A.I. to be a bigger challenge, more walks, and less perfection with the throws and fielding. As great as the new games are......I cant help but feel there is less and less user control in the gameplay itself than there used to be, particularly in fielding. I am sure alot of that is due to the animation routines, but there is room for both. Alot of people like relying more on actual stats alone for the outcome of confrontations....but isnt that what simming is for? I want to have to work to make a great play, and I want to have to work to get off the perfect throw.

Could you please give us some specifics on the changes you are implementing for WSB 2003? I am extremely interested in this title and would like to know if the strike zone has shrunk to MLB standards and if CPU runners are smarter now? Also, will there be weather in the game that might cause cancellations? Are double plays more realstic now?

Improve baserunning so that there are more close, exciting plays

Clean up the Double Play animations- I want it to be as seamless as possible so I can turn it fast without having to mash the buttons 5 times in order to get it off as quick as possible. The animations just take too long sometimes

Fix the throwing motions of outfielders. The "crow hop" throw is great, but you can only use it if you get a few steps head start before you throw. Make the arm angles look natural so the arm goes in the same direction as the throw.

Improve the graphics of the uniforms. Most of them look pretty good in WSB, but a lot of them look kind of generic with the lettering and such. ASB has this down perfectly, so should you.

If you are going to advertise authentic batting stances, please have them in the game. Some of them are ok currently, but they always "pop" into a really basic stance when the pitcher is in his delivery. If you are gonna have authentic stances, please have the authentic swings and follow through as well.

2. If I have more than one runner on base, designate who I want to run...Unless, I'm missing something.

The whole Double play thing needs to be fixed, there weren't enough of them due to the animations.

Also players playing out of position was messed up, the negative effect on their fielding should be greater if my catcher is playing shortstop.

Cut off man
and on the human controlled fielders they should be judged by there range so every fielder doesn't get to every ball and if the ones with a shorter range if they do get to the ball make it more likely that they will make an error and outfielders all shouldn't have cannon arms adjust arm strength to fit the player
