An 8-1 record is a great start for this team, 30 scoreless innings in a very hitter friendly park down in San Juan, and a Braves team up next who have combined to hit as many team Home Runs as Hee Seop Choi, i'd say it's good to be a Marlins fan right now.

Re: Fish keep rolling...
Great start....but relax guys. You've beaten on the worst team in the NL, possbily baseball for 6 games. Great pitching display but you should keep it in perspective. That Expo lineup may be the most pathetic I've seen in years.PSN: JISTIC_OS

Stop raining on the parade!!!just kiddin
I agree with the expos not being a very good team right now, and it is a long season. But shutting out a major league team for 3 games straight ( no matter how bad the team) is a huge confidence boost for the young pitching staff.
We got so many games left that the expos can end up winning the division(), but the fish have gotten the community to go out and see games, talk about baseball, and just an overall good feeling when talking about the marlins, unlike the 6 years before last season.
Marlins getting on a fast start, and the heat sitting nice in the 4th seed in the east( huge achievement after they started 7 games under .500) have made it very enjoyable to be a sports fan in south floridaComment
