Damn, Boston had a chance, but Tommy Hunter put them away. Can't win 'em all.

For the amount of money he got, I could see Nelson Cruz being one of the best bargains this year. He could post some great numbers at Camden Yard.

So far replays are 2(overturns) and 2(call on the field stands)

Welp, the lack of a bench is going to kill the Blue Jays what with Reyes having hamstring issues. The middle infield is going to be severely compromised offensively with Goins and Izturis playing every day for the foreseeable future.

On the positive side of the ledger the 4th inning AB by Lawrie was one of the best of his career even though he didn't get on base.

Someone....anyone.... who knows someone at mlb.com please tell them that their manner of listing highlights sucks. It's just a random mish mosh of stuff from the game just like last year. Still not a well put together site, which is shocking for a major sport in this country. I just don't get it. They should take a look at NHL.com.

I made it through 7 innings of the Twins game. I feel like that was an accomplishment.

I got REALLLLY nervous when Gattis came up to bat in the 9th. I just saw Brewers relief being Brewers relief and giving up an absolute bomb to him.

                    Was a fun game though.

Any O's fan will tell you the last couple years have been incredibly exciting, but this year has me really optimistic. The potential of the Cruz signing is hard not to get up on, especially after today, and I'm stoked to see what Jimenez could bring, Wednesday being the first opportunity.

The pitching still worries me obviously, and while I like Hunter, I just can't pin my hopes on him in save situations with so few pitches, but I like this team.

This offseason was incredibly eventful by Orioles standards anyway.

That was awful. For those that didn't see this on MLB Tonight, Don Baylor was kneeling down to catch the first pitch and his ankle just apparently broke. He had to be helped off the field. When he tried to put weight on it it collapsed.
