That's a bummer for Tim Hudson. He was one strike away from throwing an 89 pitch complete game, then Grandal takes him deep. Hell of a performance regardless, hard to be more efficient than that.

That "should at least" didn't work out so well did it?

A's outscore Rangers 25-4 in the sweep.

I tuned into all 3 games in the middle innings and they were all over by then.

Rangers pitching has had spurts of looking really good but their offense has looked pretty lifeless for the most part so far this season. Hopefully this series wasn't an indication of how the rest of the season will be for the Rangers but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit worried.

You guys are going to be much improved when Holland comes back. That's what I'm worried about. A's have no reinforcements coming.

That patch job of a pitching staff was bound to implode sometime soon but in such a spectacular way to the Marlins? Just makes me love this sport even more.

Also in the world of weird early season stats the whole NL East is .500 or above.

Carlos Gonzales exits a game yet again. What a tremendous talent but criminy.

As a very loyal Rockies' fan, I often ponder what they could get for him. I know that sounds crazy, him being easily a top 10 player, but they have some talent waiting in the wings (Dickerson, Barnes, Dahl) that just needs an opportunity. What the they really need are more big arms.

WOW!! This Astros rebuilding project may take longer then expected. With the owner raising ticket prices and Comcast no letting any local competitors show there games, it feels like there trying to drive this team out of Houston
