What current players are going into Hall of Fame?

I would say (even taking into considering younger players):

Robbie Alomar, Juan Gonzalez, Randy Johnson, Curt Shilling, Pedro Martinez, Manny Ramirez, Barry Bonds, Larry Walker, Albert Pujious, Alex Rodriguez, Mike Piazza, Tom Glavine, Roger Clemons, Jeff Bagwell, Ivan Rodrigues, Ken Griffey Jr., Sammy Sosa, Mark Prior, Raffy Palmero

Not a bad list. Most of those guys should make it, but I have doubts about Juan Gonzalez and Larry Walker. Yeah, they have been good players for a long time, but neither of them really stand on their own, imo. If a guy like Jim Rice still can't make it in when he excelled in an era that wasn't so offense heavy, why should someone like Larry Walker get in?

Don't get me wrong. Again, those guys are/were good players, but if they start letting people like that in, they have to open the doors for a lot of players that wouldn't otherwise be very deserving if they weren't a product of the era they enjoyed their success in.

It's also way, way too early to discuss guys like Pujols and Prior being in the HOF. You never know what can happen to a player, like injuries or whatever. Don't forget that guys like Darryl Strawberry, Dwight Gooden and Jose Canseco looked like sure locks for the Hall until their careers were all derailed far too early by injuries and off the field crap. Even Don Mattingly looked like a sure thing when he was tearing it up throughout the 80's, until his career abruptly tailed off in the 90's.

You should also add Greg Maddux, although I am sure you just forgot him. You could also probably make a good case for Gary Sheffield.

Oh yeah Maddux and Sheffield deserve consideration.

Like you said Walker and Gonzalez are intereting. I believe Juan is a former MVP and Walker has won numerous Gold Glove awards. Juan has a chance at getting 500 HR's (which is like a magic number) and Walker won't get to 500.

People have debated Raffy saying he reached 500 HR's because of the era (HR friendly) he played in. Should be interesting....

Andruw Jones has got to be considered a near-lock. He's got around 250 HR's and he's only 27. Even if he never realizes his full offensive potential, he's still going to end up with HOF numbers.

My locks/near-locks: Randy Johnson, Roberto Alomar, Chipper Jones, Andruw Jones, Greg Maddux, Sammy Sosa, Ken Griffey Jr., Barry Larkin, Todd Helton, Roger Clemens, Jeff Bagwell, Craig Biggio, Tom Glavine, Mike Piazza, Jim Thome, Trever Hoffman, Barry Bonds, Vladimir Guerrero, Rafael Palmeiro, Pedro Martinez, Nomar Garciaparra, Manny Ramirez, Frank Thomas, Ivan Rodriguez, Mariano Rivera, Jason Giambi, Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter, Gary Sheffield, Edgar Martinez.

Possible: John Smoltz, Larry Walker, Bobby Abreu, Jim Edmonds, Scott Rolen, Brian Giles, Miguel Tejada, Javy Lopez, Curt Schilling, Magglio Ordonez, Juan Gonzalez, Kevin Brown, Mike Mussina, John Olerud, Carlos Delgado.

Bobby Abreu needs to take off soon if he wants to be a HOFer. He's certainly an annual all-star caliber player, he is severely underrated and over looked. Same goes with McGriff.
