Oh I'm srs all right. I really did let out a big belly laugh when he lost it. At least it was against a respectable team this time.

As far as watching my own team, if you see a no hitter is going into the ninth you don't tune in? I'm a baseball fan so I did. Not to mention the fact there's plenty of ways to watch multiple games at the same time nowadays.

If Darvish keeps this up he's going to be the modern day version of Dave Stieb.

Seriously though. There is nothing more fun than watching Yu when he's on his A game.

He pretty much already is. Darvish has had 2 games that were one out from a no-hitter/perfect game. Stieb had 3.

Why? What's the point of that? It's an incredible feat for anyone on any team, whether you like that team or not.

Any way, got to see Yu's 9th inning and felt bad for the guy. But, the composure on his face was amazing at that point. The Rangers are fortunate to have a pitcher like him.

On the other hand, I couldn't believe how insulting the Mets announcers were in the game last night. On Wright's shot to LF which tied the game late, Dom Brown, who we all know is an average OF'er at best, misplayed the ball off the wall, though it is unsure if it would have mattered. But to talk about Brown playing the ball like he was on crutches and trying to discredit him is just so unprofessional. Now, I'm not real high on the new Phillies broadcast team, but so far I'm not hearing them insult players on the other team.

And I think it's time for Ryne to stop this lefty pitcher on righty batter experiment, especially when the righty batter is usually clutch like Wright.

I'm certainly not cheering for a Yankees pitcher to throw a no-hitter or a Perfect Game.

I'm didn't saying "cheer for it", especially if it's a rival team. I'm just saying give it its' due if/once it happens. But, to do a belly laugh when a guy fails, especially if it's not a rival team? Go figure.

I would. I used to love Kevin Youkilis and Jacoby Ellsbury. USED TO until their uniform had pinstripes on it. If a Yankee pitcher throws a no-no/PG, congrats. If he loses it with one out in the game, I'm not going to feel bad for him. Simple as that.

It is an incredible feat, that's why I tuned in to watch (and got flak from a rangers fan for doing so?). I sat there remembering his last blown chance against Houston and I thought he's going to blow this one too. I don't know why I thought it, but I did, and when he lost it I cracked up because somehow I knew inside he was going to blow it. Simple as that.

Btw, I'm an A's fan so I guess that does make it OK then.

5:2 that the Phillies make Dillon Gee look like a Cy Young candidate tonight.

Hey Cubs, mind getting some runs for Shark for once tonight?

Edit: Actually, let's just try to get 5 innings in. Geez. Pouring at Turner. And just as I say that, here comes the tarp.

The Cubs have to be the worst offense in the league at scoring runners from 3rd with less than 2 outs.

They left 4 on against the White Sox (when they managed to score 11 runs for the game, thanks to 3 HRs), and Castro just popped up to RF on a 2-1 slider that he reached out of the zone for.

And Castillo K's to leave him stranded.
