itll be VERY easy to get some good tickets my frend, the only sell out you'll ever see here in oakland is the playoffs! well, they have dollar ticket and dollar hotdog wednesdays so if thats the game u wanna go to, but the security there sucks so you can always move down to the season ticket holders section . . . i do it every time

also, this is getting ridiculous! we have had maybe 12 games that have been in the GLOVE of our pitcher in the 9th innings, and they blow a save every single time. our bullpen is ridiculous, and they better show up to play the cubbies

Well, I'll get there on the 13th which is a Tuesday so I guess I could go to the Wednesday game vs the ChiSox. I wish I could go to PacBell instead but oh well.

Do you know how far it is from Redwood City to Oakland?

redwood city is about 40 or so minutes to oakland depending on traffic

yes, its about time we won on the road. we beat the cubs 2-1 in wrigley, the first matchup between the two teams since 1929. mark redman pitched great, aloowing only 4 hits and a run. bradford closed it out, i think we should go more towards bradford closing for the rest of the year, every time he's in, it seemns to be working. his windup and side/underarm pitch is confusing to the batters, and it sure confused the cubs. well, we are 38-27 and comfortably have the first place spot in the AL West. good job a's

A'S = CHOKERS!!!!! they blew another one chad bradford! we were up 3-2 and gave up 2 runs in the bottom ninth! we better win tomorrow to win this series, its tied 1-1
