    Great thread....

    I can't wait for the draft. I know the Pads are looking at either Drew or Weaver, but I hope they go with Weaver. Nothing against Drew, but the Pads have Barfield in the minors, maybe a year away from cracking the bigs. What about this... Pads draft Drew to be the future second baseman, then Pads trade Nady, Barfield to Royals for Beltran?

      My good friend, K.C. Herren, should be a first-third round pick this year.

      He has been contacted by every MLB team.

                        I think that is highly possible. But Jered Weaver is also a HUGE possibility. Scouts are saying he could be in the Majors by September, and you can never discount pitching help. It leaves a major decision to be made by Kevin Towers and all the baseball people in San Diego.

                              Anyone know what round Landon Powell (Catcher for Univ. of South Carolina) is projected to be drafted in? I remember him being a high school phenom. Curious to know where he'll be drafted.
