I like it because it will allow us to either go out and get a LF or play Wise everyday. Either way we are better than Chipper hobbling around in Left and Julio at 1st. -

I like it also. Wise reminds me alot of Chrone Figgins in Anaheim. Its also good for Chipper Jones in my opinion. He has been basically forgotten by the rest of the league since he moved from 3rd to outfeild. Since there is so much talent in the outfeild, Chipper doesnt get noticed as much even though he puts up similar numbers then that of when he was at 3rd. I think he will get more recognition if he moved to 1st because of the lack of superstar 1st basemen in the league (with some exceptions)Comment

My biggest concern is how Chipper will react to Furcal's 95mph sinkers to first.
And while Wise is a nice backup, I don't have much faith in him as a starter. I guess Marrero would probably see some time out there, too.Comment

I actually like Wise in the outfield. He provides very good defense and speed, and hits the ball hard in most of his at bats. Sure, he didn't do too good last night, but everyone is going to have a bad game every once in awhile..Comment
