The funny thing is when Hawk blasted the media and fans by saying they are all a bunch of homers and don't know anything about the sport. Hawk said that these people[fans] have no clue about the sport if u didn't actually play in a major leauge game. The next day he was on The Score 670 AM talking about how he meant Jay Mariotti and some other local radio personalities didn't know what they were talking about. Completely acting as if he didn't say anything about the fans considering it was recorded.

I think he means that from a national standpoint people think of the Chicago Cubs before the Chicago Whitesox when they think of Chicago baseball, but thats just my opinion.
