What have the Cubs done over the last 10 years to deserve more media attention then the Sox get?

Secondly they didn't chastize their fans the way Ozzie GUillen did after the strike. "To hell with the fans, we play for US." So much that even Mayor Daily refused to go to a game.

Thirdly, the Cubs owner didn't push for a strike when it had the best team in the league and denied it's fans a possible championship.

Fourth the Cubs didn't put a gun to the head of the taxpayers of Illinois and threaten to move to Tampa unless 'we the people' built them a new stadium. Did the taxpayers get anything in return? Nope, we got the Big Hurt.

Now the Sox suddenly care about you, the fan. Because nobody wants to come out and see the game except for people with short memories.

I hope they win their division and nobody shows up, the less money Reinsdorf makes, the better I feel.

You forgot to mention 1997, when the White Sox were 2 games behind the Indians they decide to have a mini fire sale and finished 6 games back of Cleveland.
2 games out and they throw in the towel.
