Although I absolutely hate how he wears it and how ridiculous it looks.
And, I honestly think that everyone should have to wear their equipment the same and "properly"(especially if what I heard he gave as the explanation is true...I can't hunt down the source though)...
I believe he stated that he thinks it confuses hitters somehow.
It surely confuses me.

Trout and Pujols both did at the same time.

Rodney fired his arrow at the Angels dugout after getting the last out of the 8th. Apparently he didn't realize he was going to face, Trout, Pujols and Hamilton in the 9th.

He's a turd. He was a Turd here, and he's still a turd. Fun to watch him meltdown, and you could tell he was gripping the baseball a little bit tighter with every pitch.

Did you see the bomb Trout hit today?

It's just beginning to sink in that Harold Reynolds and John Kruk will likely be the colour guys on virtually all national broadcasts for the next 10-15 years. Good God.

I think mid draw Rodney realized/remembered it wasn't the 9th inning and instead of his regular shoot to the sky move his brain froze on him and he pulled an even more idiotic move and shot it at the Angels dugout instead.

I don't like seeing the Angels win but I love seeing somebody sticking to Rodney.

I did…I try and watch the Angels whenever I can, mainly for Trout, but it's nice that they are actually playing well this year. Him scoring from 1st on Pujols' double after he slid into second was amazing. I think the guy is as close to Mickey Mantle in his prime as any player we've seen since.

I watched from the 7th inning on…really was pulling for him to do it. It had that feeling that he would, but not to be.

At least on ESPN Dan Shulman can do some hand holding for Kruk but there's only so much he can do. It's worse with Reynolds though as long as he's paired with Buck i'll be sticking to the MLB International feed of the World Series as long as SNET keeps showing it.

He dosent wear it to confuse hitters, its a tribute to his late father who wore it like that working in the fields.
