Bases loaded, 0 out, down 5-3, bottom 9 for the Rays.

    0 runs scored. That's rough

Yes he is. I was excited to watch the game tonight then I saw who was pitching and thought what's the point.

Kershaw keeps pitching the way he is, they should give him both the NL and AL Cy Young.

Dan Haren hits a line drive to right field and gets thrown out at first. Impressive.

He was out by a step and a half, too.

Making the trip down to Nationals Park for the game tomorrow night with my wife. Just bought some great seats in the outfield right next to the Phillies bullpen. Not a huge fan of Nationals Park, but I can't complain about good seats and a weekend trip just the two of us.

Sitting here watching Petricka piss down his leg and flipping between the Cubs/Dodgers. If I'm a Dodgers fan I'm wondering just how Dan Haren and Chris Perez pitch in meaningful situations for this team.

Yasiel Puig is probably the only CF in the league who can turn a 400-foot shot off the wall, with the bases loaded, into a single with only one run scored.

Meanwhile, Chris Perez is complete trash.

It's so crazy to me that Petricka even gets hit. He's throwing 95-97 mph sinkers/2 seamers out there that are moving a good 10-12 inches.

And a flithy change. With Jones' TJ surgery and Matt Lindstrom being well, Matt Lindstrom, if Petricka is not the closer next season I will send hate mail to Rick Hahn, Don Cooper, and Robin Ventura.

For Oakland and all their starting pitching glory, their bats have a tendency to totally vanish. Keuchel earlier this week and tonight, Jeremy Guthrie?

Absolutely the biggest problem with the A's. If only they would make solid contact, even if they're outs I'd be fine. Just make it competitive is what I'd like to see. Not coming through with runners on base is terribly frustrating.

Puig just faked out Welington Castillo at the plate for probably an inconsequential run, but one that will be on SportsCenter later.
