Nice to see you around here again Buckeyes. Bryan Price called them out on their lack of effort, and they have won 3 straight games showing a pulse on offense. Lets hope it continues!

I like in interviews where he keeps referring to it as "a work in progress".

The Phillies would have to write a check for 60 million dollars to make Howard go away. Tough to imagine ownership signing off on that.

Too bad the Dodgers took 3 out of 4 from the Angels. I wasn't particularly expecting that. Lost some ground on the A's and the Dodgers got to add a game on SF. Bah. Not ideal.

You realize showing up in the 3rd and leaving in the 7th is something Dodger fans are legendary for? And trust me no one in the Angels fan base wants to be associated with LA. It was purely a money move by Arte Moreno.

Good series. Each team won a blowout, and the two games in the middle were 1 run games that could have gone either way. A World Series between these two teams could be fun, but the Angels don't have enough to get over the hump.

What is your opinion on Moreno? I always hear differing opinions about him, just curious about yours.

                    .

Most LA residents are douche bags. LA isn't that great either. I'm just happy we finally won a series over the angels.

I like him because he spends the money, and they do a pretty good job of keeping the costs at the games down. He wants to win, which is all I can ask of an owner.

However, he's made some decisions or some non-decisions front office wise particularly with front office personel that have hurt the club in the long run. The team will always have a shot because he's willing to make move and spend the money to get them in that position. He just needs to get the right guys in the jobs below him to facilitate those moves and to develop a depleted farm system. (Although part of the reason the farm system is depleted is they've advanced so many of their players to the big club from within )

I avoid the greater LA region like the plague.

I liked this series, even though we lost 3 of 4, the games were for the most part competitive and there was a genuine playoff type atmosphere. That can only happen when both teams are good and they are playing for something so hopefully it continues.
