When Giambi was in Oakland he played with much more intensity and purpose-- the A's success had so much to do with him while the TOP 3 were maturing. Now he's completely overpayed and playing for a team that doesn't need him to win. His spirit isn't in the game. Add to that the injuries and you have a serious has-been. He's pretty lame, and deservedly so for selling out.

Its looking more and more like Giambi is heading for the career DH role. He is just so bad at first now he's become a liability. I wouldn't be surprised if the Yankees try to deal him after the conclusion of the season if he doesn't produce.Comment
