Ha Ha what? You guys always play well against the tough competiton in the play-offs right? Especially in recent history. I love seeing the Yankees and the rest of the American league wipe the floor with Brad Radke and Co. When the Twins decide to muster up the cash and make a move anywhere near this one then get back to me.

      Re: Sox get Freddy!

Ok, but while we're waiting, let me ask you this: What were the White Sox doing in October of 2002 & 2003? The same thing you were, watching my favorite team, the Twins, the team that beat the Sox out of the divisional title both seasons, play in the playoffs. It was great, too. There's nothing better than when your favorite team makes the playoffs. It's too bad you haven't had that experience for the last few seasons, but that might change this year. Maybe. And if the Sox win the division this year, they'll only have to do it one more year in a row to match the Twins 2002 & 2003 success.

.......and if they do that, they'll only have to win 2 World Series titles to match the Twins' 1987 and 1991 success. When was the last White Sox world title? Just checking.

The only thing that has distinguished the Chicago White Sox in the last few seasons is the number of fans that have jumped onto the field to attack coaches and umpires. Congrats.

Did you gloat when the Sox signed Bartolo Colon before last season? Or what about the big Everett and Alomar aquisitions? How did those work out for the Sox?

Hey, i applaud Kenny Williams for making this trade. It's a trade for now, and the Sox have the horses to win the pennant. Of course, they've had the horses the two previous seasons, as well, and couldn't get it done. It remains to be seen if they can handle the pressure of a pennant race, but their GM has set them up to succeed. Will they get it done, or implode again? We'll all be watching. The pressure is on them.

            Re: Sox get Freddy!

You want to bring the White Sox fans as a whole into this? The twinkie fans are so devoted to your team they don't want to pay for a new stadium. And yes the Sox haven't won a WS for a very long time. What's your point? You want a cookie? I'm talking about the here and now. And after the Sox take this series from the twins and take over first place, I hope to see less and less of your twinkie bull. And on the off chance the Twins win 2 out of 3 , I will give the Twins credit

I would like that cookie. Should i e-mail you my address?

Nobody asked me if i wanted to pay for a stadium. Those decisions are made in the state legislature by politicians. They don't let the fans vote, hence, no new stadium. Hopefully, when we do get a new, outdoor park, our fans will continue to stay in their seats and not attack the on-field personnel.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't the Sox destroy the Twins the last series they played? Then why are the Twins still in 1st place? In any event, the series ends on Thursday, which is July 1st. The last time i checked they weren't handing out the pennant until late September. Also, The Twins were trailing the Sox at the All-Star break last season, and came back to win, so in reality, this series will be fun, but it will not decide a thing.

Guess what buddy, there is something different this year than in 2002 and 2003, Ozzie Guillen. I don't think you realize how [censored] of a manager Jerry Manual was, he made us lose atleast 8 games in 2003. Those 8 games give us that division.

Sure you guys have made the playoffs the last two years, and didn't do anything in them.

The Twins beat the A's in a 5 game series in 2002 before losing to the eventual champion Anaheim Angels. That's something. Winning the division, winning a first round series and playing for the right to go to the World Series. Those are accomplishments that the White Sox don't have on their resume. In 2003 we beat White Sox for the division title. That's something, isn't it? The Sox couldn't manage to win the division, but the Twins did.

The Sox have the odds in their favor this year. Big payroll. Loaded line-up. Deep pitching staff. We'll see if the genius of Ozzie Guillen is all that it's cracked up to be. Anything less than the division title is complete failure. Again.

So far they've accomplished exactly nothing.
