Anyone else think they're going overkill with the Kerry stuff? I've only watched parts of the game, but they're cutting to him after every big play, not to mention that they spent practically a whole inning interviewing him.

Nice outing for Derek Lowe. He looked really good tonight in terms of his stuff and composure. That first inning just goes to show you what shoddy defense has done to his ERA. Yes a lot of his problems have been his own doing but with some average defense he probably has an above .500 record and an ERA below 5. The Red Sox are on a mini surge right now but they continue to show weaknesses with their defense that need to be remedied. Injuries also could hamper this team down the stretch but we'll see what happens. One game at a time and the Sox need to prove they can beat the freaking Orioles this week and do it on the road.Comment
