Jeff Francis = Best Prospect in all of Baseball

Good ol Canadian boy.

The kid looks like the real deal. Wouldn't be suprised to see Rockies call him up soon (although I hope it doesn't happen because I want to see him play in the Olympics)

Since being called up to AAA in his two starts he's 2-0 with an ERA of 0.69 in 13 innings of work he has 18 k's and only given up one walk.

Before he was at AA this season where he went 13-1 with an ERA of 1.98 and 147 K's to 22 walks. He started for the World Team this past all-star break.

Has three excellent pitches (fastball, curveball, changeup) and routinely works ahead in the count

Mark my words Francis will win ROY next season.

I'm hoping that doesn't happen. It seems like every pitcher takes a beating at Coors Field. Hopefully Francis beats the curse!

Well, the Rockies AAA team is in Colorado Springs. If he can survive there, he might be able to make it in Denver.
