Before he was at AA this season where he went 13-1 with an ERA of 1.98 and 147 K's to 22 walks. He started for the World Team this past all-star break.

Has three excellent pitches (fastball, curveball, changeup) and routinely works ahead in the count

Mark my words Francis will win ROY next season.

LOL, from what I know he has a gf!

Anyways ........ he's starting tonight and hopefully he does well but one part of me wants to see him get roughed up so the Rockies don't call him up. Looks like at the Olympics Team Canada already lost Justin Morneau and the O's won't release Adam Loewan to pitch. We need Francis to be the staff ace if we hope to take a run at a Gold Medal.
