    Giambi's parasite problem could be fatal

    I don't like the Yankees but you got to feel some compassion for a guy who's suffering like this. Apparently the problem is getting worse and the parasite infection that he has is one of the more evasive ones as it's hard to detect. Giambi will be going to NY on tuesday for more tests. Interestingly enough over the last week he's been tested for cancer and HIV and both tests came out negative.

    My best wishes go out to Jason Giambi as i'm sure this is taking a huge toll on his life. In a way it's kinda sad as he went to NY in hopes of being a huge star and winning a WS but instead he's had a love-hate relationship in NY.
