Agreed, all they gave up with Doug, who had no room on the team. I heard he's starting to have an attitude now that he knew he was on his way out, and he's been struggling at the plate. They're better off starting Morneau.

They need an extra SP, Lowe gives them that. I don't know how a groundball pitcher like Lowe will fair in the Metrodome tho...

Clement is also rumored to be heading Bostons way in the deal.

Then the Cubs must have given up some good prospects in the deal, because otherwise they basically traded A-Gon for Nomar, which is a frickin' steal.

They're moving Roberts to make room for Finley when they make Bradley move to LF.

It's a four team deal, including Bos/ChC/Min/Mon. It would send Cabrera and Mientkawicz to Bos, A-Gon to Mon, Nomar to ChC, and Lowe to Min. Also, prospects would be involved(I remember hearing Francis Beltran), and possibly Clement.

Rosenthal just announced it on Sporting News Radio, he said it isn't official yet.

I'll get a link when I find it(or if someone else see one post it) so the exact details are known...
