    Big player to clear Waiver

do you guys think any other big name players will clear waiver and be 'traded' to another team by the end of the season?

Not really but I do think you might see a hot pitcher or two get traded. The BoSox still need to shore up some pitching so you may see them make a move.

Really? Mesa isn't making much at all. I though some team would have put a claim in on him to hopefully shore up their bullpen

These are just some names I have heard.

                Some others...

Brett Boone, Ugeth Urbina, Cory Lidle, Jason Kendall

I hadn't heard Mesa (although I thought he would definately be traded before the trade deadline), but Sports Illustrated listed Kendall as one of the guys they thought could clear waivers.

Absolutly. I don't think anyone would put a claim on Kendall and that mamoth contract that he has. When he does clear waivers I wouldn't be surprised if the Dodgers come knocking to see if they can work out a deal. They need a catcher but it hasn't been really discussed yet because Kendall was breaking the record for games caught by a catcher and the team wouldn't trade him before he comes home to celebrate in PNC. I would hate to see Kendall go but Littlefield is desperate to unload Kendall and this may be one of his last chances.

I agree about the Dodges. SI even mentioned them as a possibility. I guess when LA sent Lo Duca away, they only did it because they thought they could get Charles Johnson. Actually they had the trade for CJ in the works, but Johnson used his no trade clause.

My only problem with Kendall leaving is that there really is no one to fill his shoes. Sure maybe JR House, but he barely even got a chance when he came up earlier in the year. I know there are some other guys in the minors, but my guess is House will get a shot before them.
