Re: My My, don't umpires like to run the show.

I've noticed Umpires being pretty bossy and such a lot more this year. I remember one game when CC Sabathia was pitching against the Blue Jays (it could've been someone else but I know it was in Cleveland) anyways he doesn't get a strike call and got a little frustrated. The home plate umpire then stares at the guy as if he did something wrong. During the half inning the umpire throws him out of the game just cuz the pitcher was questioning the balls and strikes in a calm manner.

Sometimes I think umpires have TOO much power.

I'm not saying there is a conspiracy here, but what you said is definitely not in the rule book. Umpire's discretion.
Now this deserves a "Thank You."

Hmm..you know what, you're quite right about that. It USED to be a mandatory ejection, but now baseball has managed to simply cloud the issue once again, making warnings pointless.

Too bad you didn't post before me, it would have kept me from shoving my foot in my mouth

No biggie bro. I learned to have salt and pepper shakers sitting right next to my laptop for as many times that I've tasted my foot.
