            FYI, this umpire crew has been beyond awful and somehow the Padres have drawn them for both their series so far.

                    It's called having an embarrassment of riches. The Nats are so loaded at starting pitcher right now.

                    Strasburg would be an Ace on no fewer than 20 teams right now.

                        True but his hype coming into the league was unreal. I say if he didn't blow out his arm so soon. He might have been able to fulfill that hype. So maybe that is why I would say he is a bust in a way. But he is still a damn good pitcher.

                                Strasburg a bust? Absolutely not. There are a ton of teams who would want him to be on the mound for their teams.

                                        Exactly...hasn't Strasburg consistently been a top 10-15 pitcher in the league since he came up? What exactly about that isn't "fulfilling the hype"? And Strasburg being 3rd in that rotation speaks to the ridiculous amount of talent they have in their rotation, not a lack of it by Strasburg.

                                            When he first came up they were crowning him the next greatest pitcher to come out in a while. It was just a topic someone brought up on the radio. I don't think he is a bust.

                                                Last night was 1st time since 1969 that 2 players under 22 yrs old recorded 1st ML win & 1st ML SV in the same game

                                                        That was a hell of an at-bat by Reyes to lead off the ballgame. 8 pitches and he hits the last one out of the strike zone off the end of his bat, in and out of Jones' glove.

                                                            Jays offense has been good to start season. Nothing surprising about that. So really hope the bullpen can get settled down so they can avoid what happened against Yankees on Wednesday to happen again.
