Now, people that actually played baseball competitively or have some semblance of fundamental knowledge know that infielders give way to outfielders coming in in fly ball situations. That is Coghlan's ball from the jump, who is a notoriously bad fielder to begin with.

It also shows the value of pitch framing. Ross and Molina are two of the best, and they're showing it tonight.

I mean, 8 hits in 4.1 is bad even if guys aren't running lol. Been a weird game so far. Seems like a ton of balls just dropping in.
