No Grimm, no Ramirez. Schlitter is definitely in spots he shouldn't be in because of a depleted pen.

That said, he's just leaking earned runs (and leads) at this point. Anyone but him when the game is close please - time to give someone else a chance.

If they don't get their bullpen fixed, Theo's going to wind up dealing some prospects for BP arms. I want to avoid that. Hopefully these guys just do their damn job.

I trust Edwin Jackson alot more than that guy with one pitch and can't locate it at all. Neil Ramirez and Justin Grimm are a big part of the bullpen so that's tough. They will be fine when they return.

I understand the injury issues, but I think Maddon has gotten into the mentality that Strop is the 8th inning guy. He's the 2nd best reliever in the pen right now, so he should be used in the most high leverage situations; assuming he wants to keep Rondon for closing games out.

I just can't stand the concrete nature of bullpen usage. Use the best guys in the necessary situations, no matter what inning it is.

Maybe Edwin Jackson will get more opportunities. He's been solid in his two appearances.
