It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Man...I feel bad for Sanchez as he actually pitched a real solid game.

The Dodgers made it official today with Hector Olivera and Pablo Millan Fernandez. Olivera is expected to join the Dodgers in mid-late June after some time in the minors. Pretty sure we will be trading from our position player depth for some pitching. Ryu may be done for the year so we definitely need to add some starting pitching and some bullpen pieces.

Nationals are 15-4 SINCE that miracle 13-12 comeback with the Dan Uggla homer against the Braves that I knew would resuscitate their dead season to that point.

Pisses me off that it was that obvious.

I don't know how many times I've posted that. Also, it's time to sit Howard's *** on the bench for good and give Ruf his reps.

Amazing how much better the Phillies offense has been since Maikel Franco came up. Kid is playing very well and will be fun to watch. Just tied the game for the Phillies.

Bryant error breaks up Hammel's perfect game in the 5th

Then a knock from Solarte breaks up the no-no and shutout.

Welp, can't say Houston hasn't faced Sonny Gray anymore.

I didn't know an error erases a perfect game.

                        I learned something new tonight.

What!? How can you have 27 up, 27 down and have an error? A perfect game by definition means not one runner reaches base...even a strikeout where the hitter reaches on a wild pitch/passed ball ruins a perfecto.

I should add that you could have a perfect game with an error....as long as a runner didn't reach base. So for example, a dropped foul pop and then the hitter is subsequently retired would still be a perfect game.

You can have that happen: double play

That isn't 27 up, 27 down though...you might face 27 hitters, but you didn't retire 27 hitters since one out was a base runner.

Hm, well I suppose you're right then. I never thought of it that way though.
