I find the amount of hate they get amusing. I think there's just too many NL Easters around here and on my Twitter feed.

Though I do share in everyone's disdain for their TV announcers. It's like they have two 10-year-olds in the booth who don't watch any other team.

Didn't take long for Randy Choate to take a dump on what was a pretty good start by Jaime Garcia. DeGrom was better, though.

So as a Twins fan...there's not a team you utterly despise (like DET)?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I don't like Detroit, but I can't despise them because I grew up in Michigan and my dad's a fan.

The Ozzie Chicago White Sox teams were very unlikable.

But when it comes down to it, it's the Yankees. **** the Yankees.

I dont really hate any team either. Royals were nothing for 30 years. No rivals to hate. But this next series in Oakland could change that.

Only things I find annoying about the Nationals is the corny "Natitude" and the announcers. The Bryce hate I don't get, he's actually matured since he first came up. People have to remember he was only 19-20 when he came up so of course he's gonna act like a immature brat.

Mets split their series with the devil worshiping Cardinals, I'll take it.

The Astros have rallied from a 5-0 deficit to force extras in Detroit. A win gives Houston the best record on baseball.

Tigers win in 11. Houston's first loss when scoring 4+ runs.

I probably hate the Nationals the least out of the NL East teams, believe it or not. The thing I hate most about them is the "way" they seem to win all the time. They've got a bit of "Typical Nationals" to them. Can't stand teams like that. The hype bothers me too because they haven't really been successful yet either. Of course the Nattitude crap and the announcers like J said. There isn't too much history yet and I don't interact with their fans as much as, say, Red Sox or Dodgers fans. Other than that, meh.

As far as Harper goes, meh. I don't hate him that much but I definitely like him the least out of the Trouts, Stantons, McCutchens, etc. Props to him for lessening the doucheosity thus far. Hope that continues.

Is it possible for a team to hit rock bottom while in first place?

I'd be more embarrassed about our team being 4 innings away from not scoring a single run in an entire 3-game series, but it happened a few years ago too, right?

Correct. Against SF no less. Also, last year we lost 7 of the first 9 to SF only to win 7 of the next 9. So silver linings.

With Houston losing. KC and STL will play with the best records in their leagues.
