Pineda got 10 games so 8 games fits for me.
If I was MLB, I wouldn't like the comments that comes out when speaking of all this: "everybody does it - just don't make it blatant." They aren't really doctoring the ball though. They do it because they get more grip. If I was a batter I'd appreciate pitchers feeling like they have more grip and control on the ball if they're coming inside at 95 mph.

Lance Lynn might be hurt - Trainer came out after a certain pitch in the 1st, Lynn stayed in but looked much less effective after that, and gave up a 3 run shot to Morales.Comment

Peter Gammons is reporting the Athletics, Reds, and Phillies are scouting the Dodgers and suggested that the Dodgers could package a deal with Zach Lee, Chris Anderson, Enrique Hernandez, and Julian Leon to Philadelphia for Cole Hamels. The A's interest would be regarding a deal involving Scott Kazmir. Reds would be Cueto or Leake I believe.Comment

It pisses me off that they ran Stults out there tonight. We have really been playing well and Wood gets sick so he gets the start, but I would have rather seen a guy get called up to make one start than see Stults start another game.
