Jays have LOST 7 GAMES when they score 6+ runs! If they don't get rid of half this pitching staff by the trade deadline, someone fire the general manager, pitching coach, bullpen coach and coach!

A team that has the best offense in the league, and should have 50+ wins heading into the all star break, is a game below .500.......

You realize how little sense this rant makes right?

You're saying the pitchers suck yet your crying to have the coaches fired? Which is it? The coaches or the players.

Both. Everything needs to be fixed up. Gotta be like the Leafs and just fire every last person top to bottom, and get rid of the problem players too.

I like the "a team with the best offense in baseball should be in first" comment. Run prevention is just as important as run scoring...

But you said if they don't make trades the coaches need to be fired.

So if they trade away the staff the coaches are okay?

^At least 1 thing needs to happen. The players and/or staff needs to go. If they won't trade away the players, get a new staff who will want better players.

It's not just that they're in 1st,it's that they're in 1st by over 70 runs, and have over 100 more runs than the AL average!

Not saying they should be the best team in the league, but should be at least a 50 win team at this point in the season. I mean, you have a +82 run differential, and you're BELOW .500.....

Yep, just push a button. It's that easy.

So the Rockies blow the game wide open to take an 8-3 lead and the Braves radio crew are complaining about Coors Field. Shut up...it sure hasn't helped the Braves offense...the ballpark isn't the problem with this team.

Blue Jays are always one of the most disappointing teams every year it seems.

And the Astros limp into the AS break out of first place.

Could the Phillies come close to or surpass the 2003 Tigers record of 43-119? I am beginning to think it is quite possible. 29-62 now at the break. Freaking horrendous.

I tell ya, if the Jays had anything resembling consistent pitching across the board they'd be running away with the AL East.

Dickey and Buehrle are pitching very well lately and same goes for Estrada who's become Carlos Villanueva 2.0 (and honestly I think he's doing it without smoke and mirrors unlike Villanueva who seemed to have more luck than anything else) Sadly, other than Buehrle they haven't had the consistent run support they need.

The Jays built an offense only team, so this is what you get.

It's funny though because the mantra in the front office has been "pitching pitching pitching" to the point that it seemed like all they ever draft are pitching prospects. I really think a lot of the glaring holes we're seeing wouldn't be there if Stroman didn't go down this spring.

Without taking strength of schedule into account, Phillies are on pace for 51-111 record.
