Re: 8/3 - 8/16 Game Discussion Thread
Goodness. That Tyler Saladino play at 3B is one of the best I've ever seen. If that's not a Web Gem....Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Alright, SF.
Your man Folty is on the mound...not looking too good though. Having Freddie gone KILLS our offense.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: 8/3 - 8/16 Game Discussion Thread
It isn't just nicer to not be on the one playoffs game, it is critical. Not only you have to spent David Price on do or die game that may end your season, then pitch Dickey or Buerhle on Game 1 and Price would only get one start instead of possibly two.
It changes the whole dynamic of your whole postseason.Last edited by Master Live 013; 08-15-2015, 07:06 PM.OSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment

Love Folty's stuff...he's getting better. Love our pitching, but IMO he's going to be something special if he reaches his potential."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

Cubs take the lead in the top of the fifth on a base hit by, you guessed it, Kyle Schwarber.
EDIT: and Baltimore tied it up with Oakland in the 6th, damnLast edited by Trent Booty; 08-15-2015, 07:55 PM.Comment

It feels like Schwarber is having more of a direct impact on things than Bryant. Don't know if "the numbers" bear that out though.Comment

Dude is striaight feastin' on ML pitching. If he didn't come up so late, he'd be right up there with the NL ROY candidates. He still might if he continues this for the rest of the season.Comment

Schwarber was called up...two months ago?
I've talked about this in other threads, but Kris Bryant's quietly been an all-around force this year. Troy Glaus was the comp I heard thrown around when he was a prospect, but he's looking more like a well-rounded Giancarlo Stanton. The power obviously isn't at Stanton-type levels yet, but there's no reason to think it won't get to those levels.I write things on the Internet.

Why Joey Terdoslavich has a spot on the Braves' roster is beyond me...guy is awful in every facet of the game and has never shown anything that says "major leaguer". What an awful pinch hit at bat..."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment
