Single, double for Bryant and a helmet rub for good measure. Halfway to a natural cycle? You be the judge. Perfect ballpark to get the triple, not so much for the homer.

It wasn't your fault. The broadcast box score had it mushed in with the count, outs, pitch speed, pitch count, etc. Dunno, but probably from the 6th inning on. Unless it was the DET broadcast, then it was probably from the 2nd inning on.

Haddix's was great but something tells me this concerns Armando Galarraga, Jim Joyce, and a "kicked call" at 1B....

Twins quietly slip into the 2nd WC spot. It would figure that even if they are able to secure the spot, they'll probably have to play the ****ing Yankees.

I thought mentioning that by name would cause Psyblast physical pain.

A weird side effect of the Jays success: Don Cherry has a HUGE man crush on Josh Donaldson.

Weird play just happened in the Giants & Cubs game. Aoki hit a ball down the line that was debatable between a fair and foul ball, and as it was called fair Aoki tried to stretch his hit into an inside the park home run and was tagged out at the plate.

What's funny about it is the Cubs were probably thinking the entire time that they might consider challenging the fair ball call, but in turn after Aoki was called out, it would be the Giants who instead would want to challenge to overturn that call (which would in effect take away a triple from Aoki, even though he was thrown out at the plate).

Although they never challenged, I wonder what Aoki would want to do in that situation. He would probably be gassed after sprinting around all four bases, plus he would have a triple removed from his stats and be going back up there with a two-strike count.
